Almost half of Australians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime, according to the Black Dog Institute, with Depression and anxiety among the most common.

Despite strides in support services, there’s still a long way to go in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, especially among men.

Wiradjuri man Buddy Oldman has PTSD, and says the decision to take up boxing saved his life.
