Science Week at the Hive Ulverstone
Live performance of science-inspired music with conversation between scientists, composers and performers. Topics including string theory and relationships between invasive and endemic species in Tasmania’s Cataract Gorge. The music will be accompanied by images projected on the planetarium dome on Sunday the 13th August between 1-2pm and 3-4pm at the Hive 50 Main Street, Ulverstone. Circular Head Science Gig
The Circular Head Council are inviting you to come and explore the activities provided by local educators, businesses and reps from industry and learn along the way. Local school competition entries will also be displayed on the night so that students can show their families the great work they have been completing. Grab your friends or family to compete on the night to the MacGyver Challenge – you have 20 minutes to complete the mission, will you come out on top to hold high the MacGyver Trophy. There will be a canteen on the night to keep you fed and energised on Monday the 14th August between 4:30 – 8pm at the Circular Head Community and Recreation Centre 72 Nelson Street Smithton.
